Meet the visionary leadership behind On the Docket. A first-year attorney and first-year law student at the time saw a gap in the legal community and built On the Docket because they believed the legal community could be more than conventional networking events; it could feel like a table full of friends. Colleen and Rosalena Morrell co-founded On The Docket to create spaces where pre-law students, law students, and lawyers can show up as their full selves, connect with people who get it, and remember that you don't have to choose between who you are and who you're becoming.

Co-Founder, On The Docket
Rosalena Morrell is a New Jersey based lawyer and content creator. As a first generation law student, Rosalena sought out to share her law school journey online. She’s built an audience of over 30,000 while sharing her experiences and advice as a law student and young attorney, as well fashion and lifestyle content for busy, ambitious women. Rosalena co-founded On the Docket to intentionally connect women at all stages of their legal career.
Rosalena is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School, where she was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board, the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy, and Vice President of the Women’s Law Forum. Rosalena completed a clerkship in New Jersey Superior Court.
Colleen
Co-Founder, The Docket
Colleen is a 2L law student and content creator. She's also the COO of JurisPrep, where she helps students achieve their goal of attending law school debt-free. For a long time, Colleen felt like she couldn't have it all; loving social media and being taken seriously as a woman in law were mutually exclusive. Throughout 1L, she watched parts of her identity slip away as she chased a version of success that didn't align with who she was. So she stopped trying to fit the mold. That belief is why she created On The Docket. She wants to show other students that sometimes all it takes is getting uncomfortable and being willing to fail to get what you actually want. Colleen hopes every On The Docket event is a space where anyone in the legal community feels like they belong, wherever they are in their journey.
